Dr. Kathryn T. Malvern
It is a complete pleasure to welcome you, on behalf of the Foundation Board, to the Zeta Foundation’s website, which provides information about how the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority National Educational Foundation, Inc. a 501(c) (3) Public Charity, continues to “Better the Human Condition” through its most effective Scholarship and Community Outreach Programs. The NEF strongly supports and indeed improves the quality of life for countless students and people internationally.
Through our African American Genetics Education Program, the Foundation has received major funding of over a half million dollars since 1999, for genetic conferences as well as for other health related community outreach programs and educational/ scientific research. Through the Scholarship Program, millions of dollars have been awarded to scholarship recipients throughout the United States and abroad.
Needless to say, during this current national and global economic downturn, it is imperative that all efforts be given to those scholars, who qualify, and are in need of financial support in order to begin and complete their studies. As we support Education, we strongly support our country.
We thank International President Mary Breaux Wright, Past International Presidents, National, Regional, State Officers, Past NEF Board Members, Members of the Sisterhood, and communities throughout the United States for continued financial support, in-kind contributions, and faithful dedication to the Foundation.
