Greetings from the Foundation Chairman, Dr. Katheryn Malvern

What an exciting time for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority National Educational Foundation, Incorporated!!  The Foundation, now in its 34th year of service, has been elevated to another level as a Corporate, public non-profit organization with its “Certificate of Incorporation.” In 1975 the NEF became a Trust, as a private charity under the 501©(3) Internal Revenue Code. On October 19, 2006, the Foundation became incorporated and earned IRS 501©(3) tax exempt status on April 23, 2008, while at the same time, became a public charity!!

The objectives remain the same: Scholarship, Community Outreach Service and Research that relates to the purposes of the Foundation.

It is a complete pleasure to welcome you to the Foundation’s website which aims to provide information about how the NEF has, and continues to “Better the Human Condition.” Through the Foundation’s Scholarship Program, as well as “The Human Genome Research Awareness Conferences,” sponsored through out the United States and at the United Nations, the NEF has improved the quality of life for countless students and people in many communities.

The NEF has received major funding of a half million dollars since 1999, for genetic conferences as well as for other health related community outreach programs and educational/ scientific research.

We thank International Grand President Sheryl P. Underwood, National, Regional, State Officers, and all Sorors, for continued financial support, all in-kind contributions, dedication and commitment to the Foundation.
