Life Members Scholarship- Zeta Undergraduate Members Only The Life Members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. are proud to sponsor a scholarship to help fund the continuing education of an undergraduate member(s) of our sorority.
We will accept applications from February 1, 2020, until May 1, 2020. Winners will be announced in June 2020.
Each applicant will be required to fill out the application, write an essay and submit an official transcript. Please see the application for the submission instructions.
Each recipient will be selected based upon the strength of her composition and demonstrated financial need. Only sorors with a GPA of 2.75 and above will be able to apply.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
Life Member's Scholarship Procedures General Eligibility: Undergraduate women of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated who are currently matriculating full-time in an accredited four-year institution are eligible for this award. Each eligible applicant will be financial for the current year of the award and actively pursuing a degree. All applicants must meet all criteria delineated in this application form. Criteria:
The recipient must: · Be currently admitted and attending an accredited college or university ·
Must be a full-time undergraduate student
Must be a financial member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, in good standing and a member of an active collegiate chapter ·
Must have a Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or better (on a 4.0 scale) ·
Must submit an official transcript (Traditional or Electronic PDF) with the school seal and an authorized official’s signature ·
Must submit the personal essay ·
Must submit a completely executed and a signed scholarship application as one file (original or electronic signature acceptable)
Provide a letter of recommendation from a Life/Golden/Platinum/Diamond Life Member in good financial standing OR a financial member of the advising Graduate Chapter (if there are no Life Members in the chapter)
Rules and Regulations:
All entries into this application form and its attachments must be true and accurate.
All copies of transcripts must be the official, original documents, issued by the college or university with appropriate seal or watermark (Official electronic transmission will be acceptable), must represent a full-time student status.
All awardees must conduct themselves on/off the campus in a way, which garners the respect of other students on/off the campus, and all officials of the university.
Any change in student’s enrollment, academic status or contact information must be reported to the local advising graduate chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and the Life Member's Scholarship Committee.
All submissions must be complete at the time of submission. NO partial submissions will be accepted.
